Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located in a charming town with plenty of local attractions. The rooms, while a bit worn, served their purpose for a short stay. The service was friendly and helpful, but could be more attentive to guests' needs. The dining experience was decent, although slightly overpriced. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the town and attending local events.
The hotel was quite noisy due to being over the bar area until late at night, but the helpful and efficient service made up for it. The location is excellent for exploring the town and New Forest, though a bit small and dominated by noisy groups. The dining experience was lovely with a good selection of food, although the room decor was too dark and the twin room wasn't quite as expected.
The hotel was a bit dated but offered a convenient location for exploring, with a good breakfast selection. However, the lack of soundproofing made the stay less relaxing, and the rooms were small and in need of refurbishment.
The hotel room was much larger than expected and had a bath, which was wonderful. Despite feeling cold both nights, the staff tried to adjust the heating, but it didn't make much of a difference. The room needed some TLC with shabby curtains and could have been cleaner. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but we wouldn't choose to stay again as it almost missed the mark.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were clean, tidy, and very comfortable, located in a pleasant area. The service was impeccable, with helpful and friendly staff, although there was a minor issue with the toilet. The location was excellent, right in the center of Farnham with beautiful gardens. The dining experience was a mix of good and bad, with top-notch service but disappointing buffet-style meals.
